Jameel Odom is a recent law school graduate from the American University Washington College of Law. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Jameel received his Bachelor’s degree in English from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Jameel has worked at several different nonprofits and government agencies including the DC Court of Appeals, where he worked with attorneys making pleadings to the Court, and the National Endowment for the Arts, where he wrote and created company policies for the agency. While at the American University Washington College of Law, Jameel served as the Dean’s Fellow to the Office of Law and Government, where he worked extensively on various research projects concerning governmental affairs and the law. Jameel specializes in working with contracts and public policy.
Jameel has worked with clients in drafting policies, developing strategies, preparing proposals, assisting in submitting necessary project proposal information, and monitoring the congressional and legislative processes.
