DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
Alexander Savostianov is a career diplomat with over 10 years of international experience and strong subject expertise in bilateral diplomacy, political analysis, international trade and investment, strategic communications and diplomatic protocol. He represented government interests at the Office of the President of Ukraine, Foreign Ministry Headquarter, diplomatic missions in Russia and United States.
As Deputy Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco, Savostianov led consular operations in California and the Western United States, successfully promoting political interests and pushing ambitious trade and investment agendas. He arranged and coordinated the first official visit of the Ukrainian Prime Minister to California that developed in key bilateral trade and investment agreements between the United States and Ukraine. Being the Senior Protocol Adviser at the Administration of the President of Ukraine he was part of the select team of protocol officers that accompanied and briefed the President on his official visits to the United Nations HQ and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
